The Philippine Consulate General in Calgary joins the Department of Foreign Affairs and the whole nation in commemorating this year’s Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANAMo 2026) through a simultaneous flag-raising ceremony under the theme: “Karapatan sa Karagatan, Sama-sama nating Alagaan”.
The annual celebration of MANAMo, established by virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 316 signed in 2017, highlights our shared responsibility to protect our maritime resources and uphold our rights as an archipelagic nation.
