On 18 April, Consul General Emma Sarne had a full but fruitful itinerary in Edmonton to show support for the Filipino Restaurant Month in Canada FRMC participating restaurants (Cebuchon BBQ and Zycayah Roll). She also dropped by Jollibee and Seafood City – two (2) among the valued FRMC sponsors to express appreciation for their continued support.
On the sidelines, she met the owner of Matteo’s Kitchen which is located in Calgary. ConGen Sarne also visited the Gathr. Cafe & Lounge, a Filipino-owned specialty coffee shop, and the first-ever Valerio’s Tropical Bakeshop in Alberta. Before the night ended, she attended the Philippine Business Society of Alberta’s (PBSA) General Assembly where she continuously promoted and encouraged the Filipino Community to support the participating restaurants in celebration of Filipino Food Month.
