2026 National Anti-Trafficking in Persons Awareness Month

This July marks the observance of National Anti‑Trafficking Awareness Month, together with the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons on 30 July. The observance is anchored in RA 9208 (as amended), UN Resolution A/RES/68/192, Proclamation 1180, and the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT) Strategic and Advocacy Plans, which reinforce the country’s efforts in prevention, protection, prosecution, partnerships, and public awareness against trafficking in persons.

The current theme, “Iisang Nasyon, Iisang Aksyon: Tapusin ang Human Trafficking Ngayon”, highlights the urgent call for a whole‑of‑nation and whole‑of‑society approach- fostering shared responsibility, stronger collaboration, and immediate collective action among government agencies, civil society, the private sector, communities, and the public.
