The Consular Outreach Team of the Philippine Consulate General Calgary, headed by Consul General Emma Sarne, was in Saskatoon on April 24-26, 2026 to serve the Filipino community in Saskatchewan.
Special thanks to the Outreach team: Marieta Aragon, Joseph De Claro, Daisy L. Perez, Manuel Oira, Khristine Tamanio, Vinese Songcaya of SSS, and Neil Justin Nicolas of MWO. Sir Mann Nacario of the Knights of Rizal (KOR) was also in town to help set up a chapter in Saskatchewan.
Consul General Emma had a busy day and evening with the promotion of the Filipino Restaurant month, the swearing in of the officers of Buklod Bisig Canada Council of Filipino Organization of Saskatchewan and the Bridging Filipino Advocacy Corporation.
