The Consul General Leads 2025 Oath-Taking and Induction Ceremonies

06 January 2026 – The Philippine Consulate General in Calgary demonstrated its continued commitment to Filipino Community Organizations by officiating a series of oath-taking and induction ceremonies throughout 2025.

On 27 September 2025, Consul General Emma R. Sarne led the oath-taking of United Filipino Entrepreneurs Associationโ€™s (UFEA) newly-elected officers held during the 4th Provincial Anniversary of UFEA Edmonton.

Continuing the engagement, the Consul General administered the oath of office to the newly elected officers of the Ever-Grey Seniors Society on 08 November 2025, recognizing the vital role of seniorsโ€™ organizations in community-building.

Before 2025 ended, Consul General Sarne officiated the induction ceremony of the officers of the newly-founded Chestermere Filipino Canadian Community (CFCC) marking the organizationโ€™s formal establishment on the same day. The events highlighted the Consulateโ€™s support for emerging Filipino community organizations and further underscored the strong partnership between the Consulate and established Filipino community institutions.

These ceremonies collectively serve as proof of Postโ€™s support to Filipino organizations, reaffirming its role in strengthening unity, and collaboration within the FilCom organizations in Alberta and Saskatchewan. END
