The Consulate General in Calgary welcomed Ambassador H.E. Jose Victor Chan-Gonzaga on his first official visit to Alberta

His first full day of activities on 24 November 2025 included meetings with various government officials of the province of Alberta, including Premier Danielle Smith and was capped of with a Filipino Community meeting.

With Minister for Transportation & Economic Corridors Devin Dreeshen.
With Executive Director Chris Ryan following the briefing and lunch presented by the government of Alberta.
With some of the Filipino staff at Albert’s Government House.
