ATM. Consul General Emma R. Sarne attended a collaboration forum entitled “Victims and Survivors of Crime: The Power of Collaboration” organized by Babae: Council of Filipina-Canadian Women. It is a resource-sharing focused on discussions on critical topics including human trafficking, family violence, physical and sexual assault, child protection, and access to justice and healing.
Keynote speakers who shared insights and frontline experiences were Michelle Leonce (Director for Children and Family Services), Cst. Anthony Au (Calgary Police Service) and Michelle Kauenhofen (Manager of Community Engagement, ACT AB).
