𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 is the ultimate gateway to an unforgettable journey through the Philippines. As the flagship tourism program organized by the Philippine Embassy and Consulates General in Canada, alongside the Department of Tourism, this tenth iteration offers travelers a meaningful way to experience the nation’s 7,641 islands. From February 1 to 10, participants are immersed in the stunning landscapes, rich culinary flavors, and world-renowned hospitality that define Manila, Dumaguete, Siquijor, and Bicol.
On February 3, 2026, the National Museum of the Philippines-Dumaguete was honored to host the WE10 delegates and 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐕. 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧-𝐆𝐨𝐧𝐳𝐚𝐠𝐚, Philippine Ambassador to Canada. The group explored the 𝘒𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘯 𝘴𝘢 𝘒𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘪𝘺𝘢𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘢 𝘕𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘰s gallery, discovering the unique geology and wildlife of Negros Island, before viewing the ancient burial jars of Magsuhot in the 𝘈𝘯𝘨 𝘔𝘨𝘢 𝘓𝘶𝘣𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘢 𝘉𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢 exhibition.
The visit concluded with a look at the architectural heritage of Negros and Siquijor in the 𝘒𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘌𝘥𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘴𝘺𝘰 gallery and an interactive experience with the 𝘔𝘰𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘔𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘶𝘮 𝘉𝘰𝘹𝘦𝘴. This journey through our natural and cultural history highlights the incredible depth of Filipino identity.
