WINTER ESCAPADE 10 KICKS OFF WITH WREATH-LAYING CEREMONY AT THE RIZAL MONUMENT
1 February 2026 — Ambassador Jose Victor V. Chan-Gonzaga and Consuls General Gina A. Jamoralin, Emma R. Sarne and Kristine Leilani R. Salle led this year’s delegation to the annual flagship tourism program of the Philippine Posts in Canada in a solemn ceremony to honor the country’s national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal.
The Winter Escapade, which is now on its 10th iteration, is organized in partnership with the Department of Tourism and local tour operator Rajah Tours.
The 94-member delegation from across Canada and several from the United States will experience the best of the Philippines through curated activities in Manila, Dumaguete, Siquijor and Legazpi.
