On the 2nd day of Ambassador Jose Victor Chan-Gonzaga’s visit to Alberta, he had the opportunity to visit University of Alberta and met with its President Bill Flanagan, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the Philippines and the University, and to also review the progress of the current Philippines Studies Lectureship Series.
The Ambassador also had the opportunity to meet with the 10 DOST scholars currently studying at the University and to check on their well-being.
The Ambassador also had the opportunity to meet with several Filipino-Canadian business owners who operate within the University, such as filistix.sub and potatocornerab.
