On his last full day in Alberta, Ambassador Jose Victor Chan-Gonzaga visited the first monument in Alberta to Dr. Jose Rizal in Airdrie as well as graced the opening of the new Airdrie Public Library’s Dr. Jose Rizal Study Room. It was also an opportunity for @PHinCalgary to donate some books to the said library also.
Ambassador Chan-Gonzaga also had an opportunity to visit Bow Valley College where he had the opportunity to talk about the Colleges strides in healthcare education, film and esports.
At the end of his official stay he held a meeting with the women & men of the Philippine Consulate General in Calgary to thank them for their continued dedication in the service of the Filipino people in Alberta & Saskatchewan.
